We are a short walk from the Table Mesa RTD Park and Ride. To encourage bicycling to and from MorningStar, we offer bike racks on the east side of our building and near the main entrance. Directly adjacent to us is a bus stop on a major transit corridor serving 10 routes to downtown Boulder, downtown Denver and DIA, with The Dash route serving Lafayette. We encourage you to procure Boulder’s Eco Pass for even bigger savings. Beyond the group transportation offered by MorningStar, the local non-profit, Via, offers seniors rides to shopping and medical appointments, and to other regional bus stations.

sent to encourage me before my first triathlon. My fondness for Al runs deep, as my relationship with him made clear my life’s calling to serve older adults. Seniors teach me humility, kindness and, above all, to appreciate all the seasons of life. I am humbled and feel incredibly lucky that I have an opportunity to make a difference in their lives. I strive to find an opportunity every day to ease the challenges of aging for residents and for their families.

had such wonderful connections with so many seniors who have inspired me to be a better person, first in Nepal, then India, now the U.S. While I had no grandparents in my childhood, suddenly, upon entering senior living in 2003, I had many!—and have been privileged to make a difference in their lives. When not loving on our MorningStar residents, I’m home caring for my mom, Tsering (which in Tibetan means “long life”).

The first senior I remember loving was my great grandmother. On special
weekends with her, I’d hear stories of our pioneer family riding in covered wagons across the country (or more accurately, pushing the wagons over rough terrain). Grammy made the absolute best apple pie ever. I miss her and her stories to this day. I realized upon finishing nursing school that I truly enjoyed working with seniors. And in serving them, that wonderful and wise storytelling can continue to bless my life.

Testify to Love
“Mom is in such good hands at MorningStar. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for assisted living.”
“Your staff made the Alzheimer’s experience not only more bearable, but even beautiful in many ways through your tireless caring, support and professional help. With Dad’s passing, I felt more love than loss. It gave hope for our society, our country and even our world that human beings could help one another in such an intimate way. At MorningStar, I believe my family truly experienced the love of Christ.”Read more reviews
“You and the entire staff at MorningStar deserve so much for taking such wonderful care of my mom. She is smiling more….getting out of her room more….alert and interacting so much more than her previous living arrangement. Peace & blessings.”
