This year’s graduates include 14 from the Coordinator track and five from the Culinary track, furthering the company’s commitment to professional growth and leadership.

MorningStar University is designed to identify and nurture future leaders within the organization. Through MSU’s two tracks—Coordinator and Culinary—team members are empowered to develop their careers in line with MorningStar’s culture of Radiance, which emphasizes customer service excellence and the development of true servant-leadership.
The application process for MSU includes submitting an essay, resume, letter of recommendation, and video responses to interview questions. Over the 11-month program, participants receive weekly training and hands-on experience, preparing them for leadership roles such as Reflections Coordinator (RC), Assisted Living Coordinator (ALC), Life Enrichment Coordinator (LEC) and Executive Chef.
Graduates receive first-priority consideration for open positions within the company. The program concludes with a trip to MorningStar’s Home Office in Denver, Colorado, where they gain practical experience by working with experienced leaders and top chefs, capped with a graduation ceremony.
“MorningStar University continues to empower our team members to lead with excellence,” said Steve McConaghie, VP of Leadership & Training. “We are proud of this year’s graduates and excited to see them continue making a positive impact within our communities.”
