Nothing is more rewarding than serving those who are the most deserving.
What an apt description of our beloved Seniors, who from the wisdom of their years teach us how to appreciate and celebrate life. The history and mission of MorningStar drew me in as an ideal place in which to serve seniors. And as a fun aside: My grandparents lived on a mountain in Oregon, calling their 40 acres “Morning Star.”

“My sister and I want to thank you for the excellent care our elder sister received from MorningStar. The staff were all very helpful, kind and loving. We are pleased she had a lovely place to spend her last year. You should be very proud of your team. We will be very pleased to recommend MorningStar to anyone. God bless!” (Resident’s family)
“The staff at MorningStar of Boulder are rock stars. My 91-year-old dad has dementia, but is highly functional physically. You are doing a great job keeping him happy and well entertained. The move-in process was a breeze. The staff are genuinely interested in the well-being of residents. The food is high quality and fresh, and the community is clean, modern and very home-like. I highly recommend.”
“A beautiful community! The staff is friendly and welcoming. One of the nicest places in Boulder. I highly recommend this community.”Read more reviews
“I spent four days and three nights with my sister in MorningStar of Boulder. The staff in Memory Care were pleasant, courteous, efficient without being brusque, and there when needed. I was there during her morning and evening routines, noting the kindness and efficiency of staff during overnight checks. Care is taken to ensure dignity. I observed med administration and how patient the staff were, explaining what each pill was for and why she should take it. The food was varied, nutritious, neither over- nor under-cooked and tasty. I observed Zoomba, beach and bocci ball, cooking, games, live music, poetry reading and Friday night movies. Such activities are important to keep residents’ minds and bodies active.”
“Our uncle has made friends, gotten stronger and healthier, and re-engaged in life through the care and concern of MorningStar of Boulder. It is a relief to my husband and I to know he is being well cared for, and that we can be family again (instead of caregivers).”
“My parents have lived at Morningstar of Boulder for a year and a half in both assisted living and memory care. The community is very nice. They have generally been quite happy with the food (which is important to seniors). The caregivers are very kind and attentive. Overall, it has been a very good place for this stage of life.” (Residents’ son)
“We moved my 93-year-old mother to MorningStar of Boulder from her house of 55 years across the country. Though she is a strong and resilient woman, we were not sure how she would adjust to the dramatic change in location and lifestyle. Your team could not have been more understanding, empathic and encouraging. She feels loved, known and safe. I cannot thank the MorningStar family enough for making this difficult transition for my mom happy and successful.”
“What we experienced at MorningStar of Boulder far surpassed anything we dreamed of. With our father’s dementia you were determined to finding a way to make it work. The creativity you brought to the situation kept us hopeful through tough times. Because of your loving and caring commitment, we were able to be daughters and just love him.”
“Mom is in such good hands at MorningStar. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for assisted living.”
“Your staff made the Alzheimer’s experience not only more bearable, but even beautiful in many ways through your tireless caring, support and professional help. With Dad’s passing, I felt more love than loss. It gave hope for our society, our country and even our world that human beings could help one another in such an intimate way. At MorningStar, I believe my family truly experienced the love of Christ.”
“You and the entire staff at MorningStar deserve so much for taking such wonderful care of my mom. She is smiling more….getting out of her room more….alert and interacting so much more than her previous living arrangement. Peace & blessings.”
