LIVE TWICE THE STORY
Enjoy these miracle moments of connecting and caring
My five siblings and I delighted in living next door to Great Grandparents Raymond and Dorothy. Theirs was a home of comfort and safety…and a place to be spoiled rotten! I also lived near Grandparents Ed and Ginny. The caregiving skills I acquired in helping Ed through cancer are ones I first applied at MorningStar in 2007. Ten years later, I’m committed as ever to this tender career. Seniors amaze me. Even on their hardest days, our residents offer endearing hugs and heartfelt thanks.
Seniors teach us that life is beautiful! I love speaking with folks who have been there and done that. They impart wisdom and encourage us to live life to the fullest, offering snippets like “Don’t sweat the small stuff, or you’ll drown.” If I can help extend and enrich the lives of seniors, I think that honors all the elders who have directly impacted my life, helping me appreciate my own journey far better.
