I had a special relationship with my grandma Athen. She was a strong Christian woman who shared her love, faith and talents with me. She taught me the importance of being kind, loving and what it meant to serve God and others. Seniors have taught me to be patient, kind hearted, respectful, to slow down, enjoy life and don't sweat the small stuff. I've learned to value family, friends, to be present, and to not let life pass you by. They have taught me to love what you do and at the end of the day, be proud of who you are and how you are impacting other lives. When I read about MorningStar’s mission, values and culture of Radiance, I knew this is where I wanted to be. This is my dream job, the perfect place to live out my passion for serving seniors.
