ExitBenito Del ToroInterim Executive DirectorMy Abuelita was the most brilliant person on earth, and the first senior I ever loved. She knew everything about anything. Her resourcefulness made her the best storyteller, keeping her audience engaged throughout. Every story had a lesson that taught us to be good to one another and to honor God. What began for me as a calling to law enforcement (to protect and to serve) as pivoted to a calling to protect and to serve seniors. Being part of an organization that is not fixated on financial growth but equally entwines initiatives to give back to communities in need is refreshing.

ExitTyler NicholsonWellness DirectorThe first senior I ever loved Grandma Dolly. I can remember being around her from my youngest days…going on walks, eating great homemade food, learning to love one another, and more importantly spread love and kindness to those beyond our family. The time spent with Grandma molded me into the man, father and caregiver I am today, and pushes me to go above and beyond in day-to-day life. Seniors teach us patience and communication. In a world of fast paced environments, taking time to listen is much needed.

ExitJohn BachoferDirector Community RelationsI first started in assisted living as a part-time job while in EMT school, and was hooked immediately…by the magnitude of need, the powerful sense of family, and the big difference I could make in so many lives. What better career than senior living! In exchange, seniors teach me so much: humility, loyalty, discipline, honor and character. The way they talk about their lives can sound like fiction, but then you look into their eyes and know it is all true.
