- ExitJill DrieselExecutive DirectorI am an old soul at heart and have always gravitated to seniors. I find their life stories fascinating. Seniors teach me to slow down and focus on what is important in life. I borrow a great deal of strength from them when I find myself faced with a challenge. Interactions with seniors encourage me to be as authentic as possible and appreciate the simple little things. MorningStar values set us apart and drive me to be my best, to do the right thing for the benefit of others. So profound and impactful, when you take time to think about it.
- ExitElena FulkersonDir Community RelationsIn serving seniors, there is meaningful work. There is calling. There is passion. There is joy. Upon relocating to Idaho from the East Coast, I sought a senior living company with purpose, passion, values and a great culture. I wanted to be part of a community that makes a difference in the lives of others, where seniors can age gracefully with dignity and individuality, a place full of life, laughter and joy. Once I found MorningStar, I found where I belong.
- ExitLindsey FerdigDir Community RelationsThe first senior I ever loved was Grandma Darlene and Papa Steve who took me in when I was young and raised me as their own. Just at the point of life where they were to be giving up responsibilities, they took on a huge one (me!) and didn’t bat an eye. I saw firsthand that they were the backbone of everything. Seniors have taught me to make every day count and to do everything with love, grace and good intentions. They also teach me to find the good in every situation. Life is too short to dwell on the things we cannot control.
