Senior Living Pasadena Style – Dedicated to Valuing Seniors
If you or a loved one requires help with dressing or bathing, senior living gives you peace of mind knowing you will get the care you need when you need it. After a thorough assessment, we create a Personalized Service Plan that provides the right amount of assistance with 24/7 care managers, access to Licensed Nurses, medication management and more. Ask about the availability of respite care (short recuperative stays) or sample our community with a trial stay (from a week to a full month) to see if it is a good fit.
MorningStar of Pasadena’s unique mission statement “to honor, to value, to invest,” sets us apart from other senior living communities. Please contact us to learn more about the most trusted senior living Pasadena offers.
I love working with seniors under MorningStar’s mission, knowing I can make a difference by providing a gentle touch, kind word, listening ear or a caring act in challenging situations. Seniors provide us with wisdom on dealing with and enjoying life to its fullest. I am thankful to be part of the MorningStar Family as I can really relate to our mission, vision and core values.
The first senior I ever loved was Grandma Mary. Although she had many struggles, I do not recall a single day that she was not full of joy. I learned never to give up from my beautiful, “tough as nails” Grandma. She lived each day to the fullest, inspiring me to do the same. I have always felt called to serve and have been drawn to the guiding wisdom of seniors. It is so important to honor them for all they have given us.
The first senior I ever loved was my grandmother, now 100 years old and living in Pasadena. Her nurture taught me how to care and love for others and provide for my own family. Strong Christian values were instilled in me growing up in church in Pasadena where I've led praise and worship. Now, for my employer (MorningStar!) to align with who I am outside of work, well, it’s perfect. Christian values are a great moral compass in delivering dignity and respect to all.
My 87 year old mother moved in 6 months ago and the adjustment and experience has been excellent - exceeding my hope. Every staff member is genuinely caring and compassionate. There are many daily options for exercise and socializing. Most importantly, the residents are treated with respect.
