"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
– Matthew 5:16
MorningStar’s Vision to love and honor others stretches beyond its senior living communities—and into the world. In this, Ken Jaeger, Founder/CEO, takes a decided lead. Ken does not mince words when it comes to inspiring others to live a life of selfless giving. Whether speaking to his MorningStar team or to any audience, his words are often these: “Don’t wait to serve. Serve now. Give now. Get involved somewhere. It will make you a better person.”
To reflect the character of God and bring Him glory, we have established the MorningStar Foundation as a 501c3 organization through which we can offer abiding support to philanthropic initiatives around the world and in our local neighborhoods.

Missions has been integral to Christine Jaeger’s life from the start. Serving regularly in Nicaragua throughout her girlhood shaped Christine’s worldview and heart as nothing else could have. Giving back to and befriending those in impoverished communities has shown her the kind of love God calls us to—a call to serve others and be stewards of the blessings we’ve been given. That is where we find “life that is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:19). She is honored to champion this kind of servant-mindedness through the MorningStar Foundation and its rippling impact throughout the world.
