Our Founder Among Nation’s Top Entrepreneurs
Ken Jaeger, MorningStar’s Founder/CEO and a 2016 regional Entrepreneur of the Year winner, is seen here at the EY Strategic Growth Forum in Palm Springs in November 2016, with wife Shanna and Managing Partner Matt Turner.
At this stellar conference, EY celebrated the 30th anniversary of EOY and the global leaders it so lavishly honors. Over the last 30 years, EY has awarded 9000 winners across the U.S. Entrepreneurs have fueled America for the last 240 years. They are the engine of job creation and growth, generating $1 trillion in revenue and 14 million jobs every year.
Ken was named a regional winner at a glittering gala in June 2016, taking top honors in the Healthcare and Life Sciences category. An independent panel of judges, themselves prestigious entrepreneurs, chose Ken and seven others as winners within the Mountain-Desert Region in recognition of their excellence and extraordinary success, as exhibited through innovation, financial performance and philanthropy.
His acceptance speech was the last the audience heard that evening. And Ken’s words were powerfully, emphatically centered on humility and gratitude to God, and the fruits that come to companies that choose to honor the Lord.
