I’ve always gravitated to older generations. When I was young, I lived next door to a retiree named Bill who would sit in his front yard watching me try to master the bicycle. Anytime we were together Bill made me feel like I was his whole world. From him did I learn how to really connect with people. In this fast-paced culture, I hope to make as large an impact as Bill did, taking the time to block out distractions and give the person right in front of me the full attention he or she needs.
