"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
– Matthew 5:16
The Bible makes it clear that the Lord is nearest to the poor in spirit. And where God's heart is we want to be also. Founder/CEO Ken Jaeger has walked the path of poverty many times in developing nations, each trip a profound and humbling experience, deepening his resolve that MorningStar Senior Living plays a central role in impacting the world for good.
The MorningStar Foundation proudly supports nonprofit organizations providing safe water for the community, homes for the family, and education for the child in impoverished regions around the world.

Christine Jaeger
Director of Philanthropy
Mission work has been integral to Christine Jaeger’s life from the start. Serving regularly in Nicaragua throughout her girlhood shaped Christine’s worldview and heart as nothing else could have. Giving back to and befriending those in impoverished communities has shown her the kind of love God calls us to—a call to serve others and be stewards of the blessings we’ve been given. That is where we find “life that is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:19). She is honored to champion this kind of servant-mindedness through the MorningStar Foundation and its rippling impact throughout the world.
